Our Teaching Team
I am particularly happy to present our new teaching team.
With our different backgrounds and the readiness of team members to support each other, we are all set for a successful school year, now in a position to stimulate better performing students and support adequately those who have been struggling in the past months.
Nalumbanga is 23 years old, Ugandan, and she obtained her Level III Teaching Certificate last year. During her studies she engaged in extra-curriculum activities for which she was awarded several Certificates of Merit.
JULIET AMOTIN NABAWEESI
Juliet is 25 years old, Ugandan and a mother of 2 boys. She obtained her Diploma in Counselling and Guidance in 2016 and her exposure to vulnerable patients at Quadrah Medical Center is a valuable asset in regard to the students of our Learning Centre.
Bahizire is 37 years old, Congolese and a father of 2. Having graduated from Kinshasa University as a teacher he completed 4 years’ experience as such before deciding to become a lawyer. He graduated in Law at Goma University (Congo) in 2010. While pursuing professional activities part-time he has offered to volunteer at the Centre for a few hours weekly.
JOEL AGANZE MUSANGUZI
Joel is 20 years old, Congolese and he arrived in Kampala shortly after having graduated from College in Goma. He hasn’t given up his dream to go to University and become Engineer, however, he can’t achieve it without any sponsoring. In the meantime he has enthusiastically agreed to teach as a volunteer in the Learning Centre.
